The Beef Ministry

The Beef Ministry is the newest program operating to benefit local beef operations and those less fortunate in our community. The Beef Ministry aims to provide high-quality beef products to community programs and non-profits that can benefit the most of this fresh source of protein. In 2021, 2,500 pounds of fresh beef hamburger has been donated where it is needed most. This has been done in partnership with local producers and partnering businesses through donations and contributions. 

The Beef Ministry started in April of 2021 with the distribution of premium quality beef through Harrisonburg Baptist Church and Hope Distributed. High quality premium beef is purchased directly from beef producers and distributed to people in need. In the past year ground beef has been distributed throughout the Shenandoah Valley. This ministry helps to support beef producers in Virginia and feed people in need though out the area.
